Habitation Velier is a brand of rum from Velier, an Italian company that imports and bottles rums. The rums are produced in collaboration with Luca Gargano and distillers who use pot stills. Habitation Velier rums are bottled directly from the cask at cask strength, without cold filtration or added coloring or sugars. The rums are aged in tropical weather to accelerate the aging process, and the labels include information such as the distillation and bottling dates, and the angel's share, which is the percentage of evaporation that occurs during aging.
