Altamura Vodka is a premium vodka made by Altamura Distilleries from 100% wheat grown in the Altamura region of Puglia, Italy. The wheat has been grown in the area for over 2,000 years and is starchier than other soft winter wheats, which gives the vodka a sweetness and creaminess. The vodka is distilled three times and filtered five times with activated carbon, which is said to make it smooth and pure. Altamura Vodka is described as elegant, smooth, and intense, with notes of vanilla and citrus. It's often used in martinis, espresso martinis, and cosmopolitans.
