Ron Sostenible is a sustainably produced rum from the Dominican Republic. It's aged for at least eight years in American ex-bourbon barrels in a tropical climate, and then finished in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks. The rum is made from pure sugar cane juice and has 20 grams of sugar per liter added. Some say it's smooth, drinkable, and complex, with a long, satisfying finish and a warm, spicy aftertaste. Others praise its well-balanced profile, with notes of caramel, toffee, fruity undertones, and a hint of cola.
