An ancient bottle and one possible answer to the question, ‘How old and rare can Cognac become?’ For a relic of this magnitude we can expect a myriad of aromas and flavours, notably: dark, fruity Christmas cake, lingering cigar smoke and warming spice; deep woody roots reaching down through rich, fertile soil and all run through with fresh oak, hints of vanilla, citrus and stewed orchard fruit.
